300ml bottle. Clear dark copper colour with average, creamy, half-way lasting, moderately lacing, beige head. Malty aroma with a nuttily touch, hints of bitter almond, hazelnut, dry hoppy overtones. Taste is minimally sweet malty with a nuttily touch, hints of bitter almond, dry hoppy overtones; dry notes of hazelnut husk in the finish. Smooth palate, very soft carbonation, almost insipid in the finish. rok1024 (1272) - Maribor, SLOVENIA - NOV 2, 2013
Slightly hazy deep red brown appearance with medium head. Coffee, malty, caramel aroma. Sweet taste, medium to complex body, medium bitter finish. Good palate, overall good and satisfying Dunkler Bock. Christos (5909) - Arnhem, NETHERLANDS - OCT 14, 2013
Bottle 300 ml at home, poured into a snifter. ABV 7.5%
Light mahogany brown colour on the body, with one finger of light beige head.
Low retention, light lacing on the glass.
Aroma is fruity, bubblegum, unripe bananas, alcohol notes. Very nice and appealing.
Taste is also fruity, especially on the aftertaste. Bubblegum, grapes. Again some alcohol notes. Begins with a touch of acidity and turns to
very bitter, with a long duration.
Medium thin body, good and soft carbonation. Very dry on the palate.
Overall a nice and pleasant surprise. Maybe not exactly following the styles guidelines but
this bitterness is always welcomed. Really good. jmgreenuk (10322) - Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA - APR 27, 2013
Bottle from ABC Beers, Den Haag. Poured a dark brown colour with a thick bubbly off-white head. The aroma is a little malty and yeasty. The flavour is a little sour, yeasty and with some malt on the palate. Very drinkable and I’d like to try it a little cooler one day. kermis (14955) - The Hague / Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - APR 27, 2013
Bottle shared from ABC Beers. Pours clear brown with a tan head. Aroma of malt, wort, a little coffee and strange fruit. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Light medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle looks good, although its a bit complex. Beer in the glass dark, almost black, nice head. Starts strong, fine malty, not too roasty. Some interesting malty-spicy notes with fruity hints. Finish more dry, well balanced. Warming aftertaste. Nice! kiwianer (3428) - Otorohanga, NEW ZEALAND - NOV 4, 2012
The head is medium, the body red-brown. The taste is bitter, malty, a bit chocolate. In the aftertaste bitter, sweet, aromatic. I like this! 12/11/11/12/-/12 erickok (6036) - Leuven, BELGIUM - OCT 27, 2012
Served very cold. Filtered brown, tan head. Standard bock feel, mild aroma at best. Some dark fruits and caramel. Good carbonation. Accessible and malty. It’s okay. (On tap
