UPDATED: MAY 2, 2005 Rerate, beer on tap, clearly better than the bottled version again. Typical German Hefeweizen, wheat and banana in the aroma, banana in the flavor, reasonably wellbodied, enjoyable. Christos (5909) - Arnhem, NETHERLANDS - JAN 6, 2014
Bottle, 300 ml. Into a weizen glass. ABV 5.2%
Dark honey orange colour on the body, hazy, lots of activity in it, with two fingers of white head on top. Good retention, light lacing on the glass.
Aroma of wheat and starch, sweet, ripe pears, ripe bananas.
Taste is sweet and fruity, again lots of wheat malts, little yeast, ripe bananas, light floral notes.
Medium thin body, good carbonation, nice dryness on the palate.
Overall this one from Huttenkloas is also more than decent, following the style’s guidelines. Tayeth (706) - North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - JUN 15, 2015

Draught Greenish shine in orange-yellow beer. Banana ester, wheat, typical German Weizen nose. Banana pulp in the taste again, but much drier in character with the grain. Medium bodied. A German Weizen - another, so what? Lubiere (14240) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 11, 2005
Hazy blonde with a typical banana and clove aroma. Rather bland taste of bananas with not much character. Light bodied. May 1,2005 at 2nd KBC Festival, Den Bosch, NL.
