Hazy dark orange to amber color with off-white head. Aroma has some sweet pear preserve, caramelized sugar, toasted wheat and mushy banana. Taste is sweet with overripe banana, some cloves, toasted malt, light sugar, some earthy bitterness on the finish. Medium body and carbonation. Not bad, quite nice aroma but the taste is pretty generic.

Maria (10212) - Thisted, DENMARK - MAR 10, 2013
It’s unclear brown with an orange hue and the head is creamy and lasting. The aroma has notes of caramel, yeast, fruit, wheat and licorice. The sweet flavor has notes of yeast, caramel, banana, licorice and the finish has notes of yeast and burnt sugar. A really lovely fest weisse!

MoritzF (9901) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - APR 30, 2012
(bottle) Cloudy, chestnut-brown colour with a beige and big foamy head. Slightly toasted malty and moderately wheaty aroma with nutty notes and a rather restrained fruity touch. Slightly sweet and bitter flavour, medium bodied at most with a well-carbonated mouthfeel. Dark and moderately toasted malty taste with present wheaty notes, a distinctively nutty and a rather subtle (berry-)fruity touch; mildly sweet-bitter toasty and wheaty finish with notes of cloves and nuts. Nice dark Weizen with Märzen strength. 04.IV.12

Bottle (many thanks to Quack-Duck!): Amber coloured, bigger rocky stable off-white head, moderate sweet toasty and wheaty nose, clovey traces detectable; moderate sweet-sourish flavour, medium bodied with a creamy MF; quite mild, but distinctive toasty nutty finish with a delicate acidity and bitterness in the aftertaste. Pretty good example of the imaginary style "Weizenmärzen"…

Bottle 50cl, from Quack-Duck thanks a lot. A cloudy brown beer with huge creamy head. Nose is very fruity on banana with good weizen notes. Aroma is very floral, weizen and yeast like, mostly dry, long malty and toasted notes, body a bit watery, low bread notes, bit acid, less deep than expected.

Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - NOV 26, 2011
Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a cloudy opaque amber with an off-white head. Fairly neutral yeasty nose. Medium body, sweet fruit, yeast and phenols. Some alcohol showing late. 261111

Bottle. It pours a murky dark orange-golden to brown body and a finger-thick, dense, off-white head. The aroma has a sweetish banana and bubble gum domination, with a touch of caramel. Full-bodied and effervescent, with flavors of caramel, bubble gum and some banana, and a pleasant bitterness coming towards the end. Well, far from bad in any way, but there’s nothing impressive going on here. 111126
