Bouteille: Deep ruby-amber coloured, mid-sized and quite firm off-white head; mild and quite dry toasty-caramelly nose with a slight mineralic-metallic tinge, molecular traces of nuts included; almost moderate dryish bitter-sweet flavour, pretty light bodied; lingering and more bitter than sweet malty-caramelly finish, illusions of hops in the aftertaste.O.K. and a bit unusual… fonefan (48622) - VestJylland, DENMARK - FEB 7, 2015

Geruch schokoladig, malzig und leicht rauchig. Start dezenter Buchenholzrauch, Malz. Mitte schokoladig, malzig, schwach rauchig bis in Abgang. Ganz gut. MoritzF (9851) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - AUG 22, 2014
(bottle) Clear, slightly reddish brown colour with a slightly beige medium-sized foamy head. Slightly nutty toast-malty aroma with notes of caramel and a touch of herbal and slightly grassy hops. Bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Moderately toasted malt character with nutty spots, caramel and a whiff of molasses; rounded bitter-sweet and mildly toasty malty finish with lighter but still present herbal hops. Balanced, not too sweet Dunkel. 22.VIII.14 ciocanelu (2456) - Timisoara, ROMANIA - APR 24, 2014
UPDATED: DEC 15, 2015 Poured from 500 ml bottle. Clear brown color with beige head. Leaves nice lacing on the glass.
Aroma is bready with a roasted malt character.
The taste is vary balanced. There’s a slight sweetness in the front and a slight bitterness in the aftertaste. You taste mostly the roasted malts.
The body is thin and has a light carbonation making it very drinkable.
Overall this is a decent Dunkel. Very drinkable with a subtle taste and aroma. Maria (10212) - Thisted, DENMARK - FEB 4, 2013

500ml bottle. Nice creamy foam, silky CO2, quite malty and sweet for a dunkel with some hop in the background. Body is OK for the alcohol content, not too heavy and not too thin. Caramel, raisin are the top flavors in it. Colour is reddish-brown. Good beer for a high price!
