Bottle from Vika enjoyed at home
Pours brown with a small beige head with big bubbles. Smells of herbs, caramel, hints of roast and malts. Taste is moderate sweet, a strange mouthfeel made by some bitter herbs that tastes of green leaves and soil and bitter malts that i don’t like. This is not what i’m looking for in a beer

Tap at Crowbar, december 14th 2012. Dark brown body, thin offwhite head. Aroma of ginger, honey, flowery hops. Taste of peppers, caramel, milk chocolate and juniper. Interesting taste, nicely blended. A bit light bitterness, overshadowed by sweetness. Aftertaste of malt, juniper and a bit smoke. Overall an enjoyable beer.

Amber body offwhite head. Aroma has caramelly malt, sweet rye, spices and nuts. Quite easy, I don’t get the juniper. Alcohol is well hidden. Good, but this doesn’t interest me much.

Looks reddish dark brown, clear almost transparent. Smell is dark fruits, prunes and alcohol. Strong sweet juniper taste that is well balanced with hops:) sweet, taste of sap, in one with nature. An odd ball, but suprisingly nice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: JAN 1, 2014 Small beige head. Clear deep dark red body with lazy carbonation. Earthy fruity juniper aroma with wooden caramelly notes. Deeply unusual aroma. Sweet-dryish earthy syrupy juniper taste with rye crisp bread notes. Fullish body. Dusty, slightly sharp mouthfeel, with light astringence. Dry roasty earthy rye aftertaste with spicy juniper and syrup notes. Really, really unusual, but good too. (0.5l bottle, wine monopoly web order.)
