It is brewed with both juniper twigs and a large dose of Finnish attitude. It is available on tap an in bottles in bars and restaurants across Finland. The beer has also featured among the seasonal Christmas beers at Alko, the Finnish monopoly retail distributor of beers with more than 4.7% Alc. Delicious. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Mild warming finish, toast, more brown sugar, light fruits. As I said, delicious.

Bottled. Deep ruby color, small steady beige head, lace. Rye, dark fruits, licorice, cocoa powder, bread and wood in the nose. Lots of caramel, cocoa, raisins, spices, some hops in the finish. Above average body. Some alcohol in the aftertaste. I can’t trace juniper. Quite interesting brew from Huvila.
