Bottle 0,5 l. Darkish amber, thick off white or beige head. Nose has lots of herbal hops, full DIPA style nose with maybe some juniper deep down, but could be hops only. Malty background. Flavor is very nice with double IPA style hoppiness and thick malty background, maybe a tad too sweet and sticky. Had I not known this was flavoured with juniper, I wouldn’t have guessed. Fits well with the fresh and big hoppiness. Very nicely balanced and easily drinkable, yet a delicious treat.

50cl bottle. Poured hazy brown color with a very thin head. Aroma is very sahti like, yeasty and malty and lots of juniper. Flavor similar, malty and very hoppy, juniper and some yeastyness. Well hopped, quite dry finish. Fresh and excellent beer.

500 ml bottle shared by ShareANevada (ba). Pours a caramel brown color with a medium sized frothy beige head. The aroma is caramelized maltiness with herbal notes that tend toward juniper and pine/spruce. The flavor shows a solid malty base (caramel) with notes of wood and juniper berries. There are lighter floral hops. The finish is dry and refreshing. Medium plus body and smooth. An Interesting beer I probably would never have tried otherwise.

Bottle. Hazy dark amber body. Small head with fine bubbles. Sweet hoppy aroma. Taste has toffee, caramel and plenty of hops. Juniper is not that evident. Or maybe it is, but it’s lost in the bitterness. Juniper also has a piney/herbal quality and I would have liked to taste more of that.

500ml bottle pours a deep amber color with a small off-white head that leave a thin lacing. Aroma is dark fruits and roasted malts with hints of hops. Taste is malty sweet with some roasted malt bitterness and a moderate hop bitterness with hints of dark fruit. Medium body and mild carbonation. This definitely satisfied my taste buds. Well done.

suurjuust (3839) - ESTONIA - FEB 5, 2012
Dark brown, off-white head. Nose is sweet malt, some hops and juniper notes. It all blends together very well and is a complex and pleasant harmony. Taste has a more pronounced bitterness, but that is balanced out by the slightly sticky sweetness. Juniper blends surprisingly well together with the hops. Medium bodied, gentle carbonation. Good stuff.

Dark copper colour with small tan head. Sweetish smooth hoppiness with some fruits/berries. Sweet fruitiness with crisp hops in flavour. Could be different as bottled.

500 ml bottle. BB 01/09/12. (Alko) Helsinki, Finland.
Dark reddish brown colour with small to average size tan head. Aroma is quite strong with hops, juniper, spices and some bitterness. Flavour is chocolate, mildly roasted malt, spices, juniper, dark fruits and hoppy bitterness. Rich and creamy palate. Rather enjoyable one. It’s not a mistake to import this one. Nice!
