Pours copper color with a small head. Aroma of fruits and some caramelly malts. Flavor of malts, citrus fruits, some caramel and hay.

laiti (8544) - Tampere, FINLAND - JAN 4, 2012
50 cl bottle @ home, BBE 22.04.2012
Aroma has toffee, cookies and caramel. Flavour is rather weird, it feels like a raw bun dough. Also some vegetables, cookies and toffee. A weird one, I find it hard to say whether I like this or not. Probably not.

Hermod (8780) - Vantaa, FINLAND - DEC 25, 2011
50cl bottle. Poured dark mahogany with a decent beige head. Aroma is nutty, dark fruity and has some yeasty notes. Flavor is bitter chocolate, raisin and maltyness. Slighty chocolaty finish. Light body. Not bad.

suurjuust (3959) - ESTONIA - DEC 25, 2011
Clear amber, tan head. Nose is interesting - strawberries, nuts, malt, hints of caramel. Taste is malt, hay, some caramel, hints of berries with bitterness in the finish. Palate is on the thin side. Not bad, but expected more.

Kavu (5381) - Helsinki, FINLAND - DEC 2, 2011
Pours clear brown with a low head. Aroma is fruits and honey. Flavor is mostly malts, pretty basic ale really. Decent.

Rune (14171) - Tromsø, NORWAY - FEB 12, 2011
500ml bottle from Eat & Joy in Helsinki. Clear, amber-brown body colour. Initial a decent amount of off-white head. Weak smell of dried fruits and grainy malts. Mid-sweet taste of nutty malts and dried fruits. Thin to medium bodied. Easy to drink. Average (hotel room, Helsinki 03.02.2011).

MikeKeller (956) - Kemi, FINLAND - DEC 29, 2010
Bottle. Darkish clear brown beer with white head. Sweet malts and hint of hops on the nose. Taste is fairly bitter with sweetish malts towards the end. Quite watery, not enough body and the balance isn’t very nice either.

lusikka (7833) - Tampere, FINLAND - DEC 21, 2010
500 ml bottle.
Pours a dark reddish brown colour with a very small head. Aroma of caramel malts and grass. Flavour of bread, loads of nuts, caramel malts, grass and hay. Medium bodied with a slick mouthfeel. Quite dry, malty finish. Average bitter with nuts.
