3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: MAR 17, 2008 bottle. i’m not sure what is going on with me and this brewery as i’ve received this and another bottle recently (both rated poorly) and they both had this wonderful and surprising wild yeast house flavor that i just couldn’t deny loving. since i know nothing about this brewery i’m not sure if this was intentional or not but this brew had a lovely acidic, slightly lactic, sourness to it with a touch of toasted biscuit. easy drinking and thirst quenching. both of the beer i had were great and i wish i had them in my regular line up.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Deep dark amber colored, no head. Sweet, caramelly, sour and plummy aroma. Medium bodied. Flavor is more hopped with some caramelly tones, aftertaste is still very round and short. Rather high carbonation.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Clear amber, tan head. Nose is interesting - strawberries, nuts, malt, hints of caramel. Taste is malt, hay, some caramel, hints of berries with bitterness in the finish. Palate is on the thin side. Not bad, but expected more.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Courtesy of oh6gdx. Thanks, Pat. The aroma smells of slightly tart hearty bread. A bit like sourdough really, but with faint fruity notes. The body is orange/brown in color and holds a diminishing tan head that leaves very clingy lace. Dry bready fore is slightly toasty. Medium bitterness. Nice motuhfeel for the style. Toasty grains int he finish. Pretty nice brew from a quality brewery.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Tumman ruskea/punainen väri ja valkoinen, runsas ja paksu vaahto. Tämä vaahto tuntuu sinnitttelevän pitkään oluen pinnalla suojaamassa aromeja pakenemiselta. Hieman mausteinen, maltainen ja tumman hedelmäinen tuoksu. Suutuntuma on miellyttävän pehmeä. Maku on hedelmäinen ja mausteinen. Hieman paahtuneisuutta arvattavissa maltaissa. Jonkin verran katkeraa, nurmikkoista humalointiakin maussa on. Vähähiilihappoinen ja ihan mukava olut talviseen illanviettoon.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
500 ml bottle. Deep copper color, very slight off-white head. Roasted malt aroma. Malty flavor with a bitter finish. Slightly watery and weak. A somewhat disappointing beer from a great brewery.

A bottle from K-Supermarket. Round soft nose. Pale beige head. Coppery reddish brown colour. Sour and dry. Largebubbled head. Slightly hazy. Bitter hoppiness at end. Some hints of cacao. Somehow flat.
