COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Huvila Pale Ale is clear amber coloured beer with an aroma that brings aromatic hops, caramel and grass to mind. The American hops that we have used in its production give the citrusy and hoppy taste as well as a long bitter after taste. Refreshing with an air of sophistication! It is available in selected shops, bars and restaurants all over Finland. It is also possible to visit the Malmgård brewery and buy Huvila Pale Ale on site. Since 2011, Huvila Joutsen is also available in shops in Estonia through Drink Baar.

Kirkas vaaleankultainen olut vaahtoaa keskiverrosti. Valkoinen pienikuplainen vaahto on hyvin säilyvää. Tuoksu viljainen, maltainen ja havuinen. Maultaan viljainen, havuinen, aavistuksen voinen, katkeramman mausteinen jälkimaku. Mainio, hieman pils-tyyppinen janojuoma ainakin näin puolimaratonpäivän päätteeksi.

50cl. Pours slightly hazy full golden, with nice thin head that stays. Citrusy and fruity aroma. Gently bitter, very smooth, medium to full bodied, pleasantly carbonated. Finish is long with some sweetness to it. As mentioned, had it first from Drink Baar. Food pairings are well described in J.Ramsden book. Bottle rated on 15.04.2016

The beer looks very nice. The beer pours a massive amount of foam. The foam is very soft and fluffy. A lot of the foam collapses, but still a thick layer of foam remains on top of the beer. I love this, when the soft layer of beer touches your lips. The beer itself has a nice color, a combination between amber and golden yellow. The color is a little pale. The beer is very cloudy. It is as cloudy as most weizeners. It looks like the beer isn’t filtered. The smell of the beer is quite mild. I smell a lot of hops. The hops have a citrusy and herbal aroma. It is a little spicy, it has some kick. The smell is very fresh. Sweetness, bitterness and a fresh sourness are in good balance. The taste of the beer is also nice. The taste is rough and undistinguished, in a good way. It is robust. The taste had a massive bitterness. The fruitiness and sweetness of the hops have gone towards a far distance. But it is clearly still there. Especially early in the taste, when the bitterness hasn’t gotten to his strongest. Than you taste the citrusy fruity hops, which make this beer so delicious. A very nice beer it is.
