(Bottle thanks to Porter Otto and Åsa) Pours dark brown with a beautiful red glow and a light brown/nougat colour head. The aroma is rather malty with tones of chocolate, nuts, dry dog food, hay, light caramel and some coffee. Light hoppy on the nose. A touch of vanilla in the background. The flavour is medium malty and light hoppy with tones of coffee, chocolate, hay, dry dog food, light caramel and grass. Aftertaste of wet paper oxidation and grass. Light sweet, light acidic and light to medium bitter. The mouthfeel is soft with a light to medium carbonation. Near medium bodied. begbie100 (181) - Oulu, FINLAND - SEP 29, 2008
Draught @ OTTO Festival. Light brown thick head, goes away fast. Very dark coloured, little bit red light goes through. Aroma is sweet with roasted malts. Palate feels too carbonic for porter. Flavors of roasted malts, semi-bitter. Well balanced. mjs (7259) - Helsinki, FINLAND - SEP 12, 2008

Bottled(500ml). -Black coloured, medium sized brown head, chocolate chicory nose. Roasted malt along chocolate and bitter coffee. Also notes of caramel, licorice and nuts. Dry bitter finish. Simple and good porter. raymondwave (931) - FINLAND - AUG 23, 2008
Tap at St. Urho’s Pub. Dark deep brown black with brownish short head. Nose has roasted malts, sweetish chocolate, dark roast coffee and some musty earthiness. Flavor is perfectly roasted, only slightly bitter, sweetish, chocolate, coffee, maybe some underlying sweet liqourice. Very smooth and thick palate. Easy carb. Not a huge fan of porters, but this one is up there on the top. Not as sour as many porters from this area. Very big for it’s ABV.

Bottle. Smell of coffee and dark chocolate, roasted malt and light toffee. Medium sized brown creamy-foamy head, long lasting. The body is black. The taste is moderate bitter, the duration is quite long. The texture is creamy and oily, the carbonation is flat and the body is full. A very nice Porter! Bottle courtesy of reakt. Nearly black with a very small line of tan foam. Very still too. Earthy malt aroma with a subtle vanilla hint. Has a creamy, buttery taste when it hits the lips then dark chocolate malt. Extremely smooth but a bit sweet and could do with a bit more balancing bitterness. Still, a very good porter. tlind2 (1718) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JUN 19, 2008

Kampela, Helsinki. Very deep brown color, opaque, lasting low brown head. Sweet aroma of chocolate. Chocolaty taste with roasted malts and medium bitterness. Very smooth mouthfeel. Quite good, but somehow I liked the Foxy version better.
UPDATED: MAY 27, 2008 This one works. Everything that a good porter is supposed to be. A strong roasted malt taste with chocolate, coffee and cocoa in a good balance. Porter is available on tap in Huvila.
