Artevelde Grand Cru features a dark red-brown colour, a firm, creamy, and cream-coloured head. The smell of roasted malt, caramel and the sweet fruitiness of the alcohol give this beer the perfect aroma. Caramel, sweet fruitiness and a pleasant bitterness are the predominant flavours. Its aftertaste reveals a pinch of toffee and date. Ingredients: water, barley malt, hops, yeast. Triple fermented.

Monumentlis, tmr, rkk tart, bzs sznű hab, barna szn. Kiss szrs, enyhn karamelles illatvilg, s ahogy melegszik, bekszn egy fanyar gymlcss vonal is. zben a karamell malta dominl, de nem tl tolakodan, mellette enyhe savany s keserű, valamint nmi fahords aromk is rezhetőek. Utze hossz, enyhe keserű, alig rezhető dohossggal s savanyval. Nem rossz, de nem is nyűgztt le, valahogy nincs igazi sszhang. Taln mg rnie kellene.

330ml bottle in Blaendulais, gold foil, 7.3%, BB Dec 2017. Thanks Sarah. As Artevelde Grand Cru. Very dark reddy brown, pretty clear, sparkling, thin bubbly tan head. Aroma is red grape juice, candi sugar, touch of cherry, a little musty. Body is light, foamy, tingly carbonation. Too foamy and a touch rough on the stomach. Taste is a little medicinal, sweet, some plum and raisin, soft finish with some booze. Not bad overall.

Pours a dark brown to almost black color, with an beige creamy head. Aroma of roasted malts and spices. Flavors of roasted malts, hints of walnuts, woody, creamy, raisins, and chocolates. Creamy body, slightly sweet and bitter. Pleasant balance of flavors, nice medium body and easy to drink. Very nice brew, with a finish like velvet, making a pleasant ale to drink. I will drink again.
