At some beer bar in Lyon: Pours gold with a white head . Aroma is grain and grassy hops. Taste is lightly sweet and pretty bitter. Standard pils, and not bad for what it is. larsniclas (7349) - Billdal, SWEDEN - MAY 19, 2007
Draught at Sailors Inn, Budapest.

Tap. Clear golden with small white head. Some grains and weird metallic and chemical bitterness with minimum hop aroma. Very mediocre. reebtogi (6488) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - AUG 6, 2011

Bottle 33cl. Nose is on dry grain and bottom yeast like. Aroma is on dry grain, metallic and with light apple touch, low hopy, low bitterness, very basic lager.

UPDATED: JAN 15, 2016 Huyghe’s contribution to the vast puddle of bland standard lagers, taken over from Biertoren in 1993. Moussy, white, quite stable head, colour pale golden blonde. Grainy character with some aromatic hops in the finish, otherwise there is not much to say about this. Just another boring, yet correct lager. altonbrownd (5897) - Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA - DEC 10, 2010
On tap at Delirium. Yellow golden body with top head. Nose quite corny. Taste of malts. Quite boring, really. But okay for a session beer. BoBoChamp (5754) - Gent, BELGIUM - JUL 9, 2009
25cl, from De Hopduvel Gent, not complex brew, yet refreshing, balanced, clear, good head, nothing special DonMagi (5593) - bantervile, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - SEP 28, 2006
Bottle at Campus in Glasgow. Aroma is halty fruity but not good and herbal hops dont help. Taste is similar a bit overpowering for the strength rubbish lager really. duff (5486) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - FEB 6, 2004
Boring crap. Huyghe suck anyway, and then they go and make this shitty lager. Corny/ricey, sweet-ish malty, dry-ish finish and easy to drink, extremely boring, and very uncompliacted. Why do us Aussies end up with all the crap? This is a pretty pointless beer.
