A Bohemian Pilsener that uses Czech hops. A slightly sour aroma. Not very impressive.

boto (2283) - Granby, Connecticut, USA - OCT 1, 2014
Draught @ Brewery: This one pours a clear, light golden color. There was a very small white head and almost no lacing. The aroma is mild. Some malts, maybe some floral hops. The taste was definitely light. Some malts, floral hops, and an aftertaste I couldn’t quite figure out.

blipp (9902) - La Mesa, California, USA - MAY 2, 2013
Draft. Pours gold with a white head. Clean grainy malts, with grassy and earthy hops. Simple, well balanced, and very drinkable. Good stuff.

Sample at the brewpub. Pours gold with a white head. Smells of light noble hops, a touch of dry malt, some grainy elements. Tastes of dry malt, some bitterness, some sage and grass elements on the finish. Enjoyable.

a bit better than the big easy blonde. Not much aroma here. Taste is a bit cleaner but not terribly hoppy which is too bad. Finishes fairly clean. Could make a decent lawnmower beer. Of course I don’t own a lawnmower.

Location: Draft at the Brewpub, 10/2/10

Aroma: A light and dull aroma of grains and corn, fairly typical of a boring pale lager
Appearance: The pour of this one is clear, golden in color, and with no head
Flavor: It has a malty sweetness up-front with a finish of hoppy bitterness and something quite off
Palate: It is fairly light of body, and feel that lasts on the tongue just doesn’t quite work for me
Overall Impression: This one is not exciting at all, probably my least favorite thing that I tried at the Brewpub. It is rather dull and typical of the mediocre examples of the style, and it has a rather odd aftertaste. This just really isn’t very good.

j12601 (13297) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - APR 11, 2010
On tap at the Hyde Park Brewery. Pours a clear golden yellow, thin white head remnants, but mostly still looking. Empty for the most part but what aromas exist are mostly grain. Holy sweetness batman. . Decent body at least, but this is just sweet and empty. Big abrasive and unrefined bitter finish. Ugh.

jcwattsrugger (12559) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - AUG 11, 2009
on tap–pours a white head and yellow/gold color. Aroma is perfumy, grain. Taste is perfumy/herbal hops, grain/light malt-sweet.

The beer pours a completely lucid macro yellow. Aroma is slightly sour and lemon. I do not think it is intended to be so but heck it works well enough. Taste is similar with light biscuit malt sweetness. Very light and quaffable.
Brewpub sampler.

Golden lager-like pour with a pretty good white head. decient bitterness with a nice light body. Not bad
