Tasted this somewhere in London in May 2006. Cask, handpump dispense. Clear pale straw in colour with a thin creamy white head. Slight sweet note of barley sugar in the short, difficult to detect aroma. Thin resiny mouthfeel and good lacing. Pale malt base gives a chewy digestive biscuit note mixed with sweet golden syrup flavour. Dusty hop resins impart a metallic tang to the aftertaste. Finish is slightly sweet with tart fruity malt evident. An ok session Golden Ale. jammin7jg (139) - Burnage, Manchester, Greater Manchester, ENGLAND - APR 30, 2007
[CASK: The Friendship Inn, Fallowfield, Manchester 25/06/06] This was the 1st ale of the Hydes classic series I tasted (unfortunatly missed the 1st 2)... Was extreamly impressed by the taste and this ultimatly led to me making sure I tried the rest of the series. A healty % but not making the tast too strong. Overall pretty delicious! chriso (7586) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 23, 2006
Cask (handpump) at the Colonies, Westminster, May 2006. A smooth, soft, fruity, golden ale with a distinctly fruity feel. Not the most aromatic or hoppy, but crisp and refreshing enough to enjoy a couple of pints.

Slight fruit aroma. Golden bronze coloured and hoppy with some dryness in a slightly wheaty malt finish. Mungo (2470) - Southampton, Hampshire, ENGLAND - JUN 24, 2006
Cask conditioned @ Crispin, Wokingham. Dr No inspired pumpclip. Slightly fruity with quite a lot of yeast as well. Not hoppy enough to clean the palate.
