Moravius (1560) - Berlin, GERMANY - APR 27, 2017

Many thanks for this beer to Beerhunter111. Clear golden beer with a nice offwhite head. Malty caramel aroma, cereal notes, bready.

Clear golden with a medium white head. Aroma had diacetyl, grassy hops and malty hints. Flavour was bone dry and crispy with grassy hops and hints of malt. Finishe dry and bitter.

Clear medium golden yellow color with a average, creamy to frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, fruity, butter notes, light to moderate hoppy, citrus. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, fresh. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20100719]

Draught at the brewpub. Clear yellow colour. Stable white head. Sourish grain aroma. Good hay and white bread flavour. Nicely chalky. Also chalky mouthfeel. Fine, subtle hop flavour.

bottle, thanks to Bochum! Clear pale yellow, large head. Full-bodied, very malty with aromatic hops, quite herbal. Lingering finish.

MoritzF (10255) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - DEC 26, 2007
(swing top bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a big fluffy white head. Fresh, herbal and nettle-like spicy hoppy nose with a touch of citrus. Bitter flavour with a light but balancing sweetness in the wings, light to medium bodied, crispy mouthfeel. Short malty base, herbal hoppy taste with a touch of sour dough and citrus; dry and almost lingering herbal hoppy finish. An initial metallic touch fades quickly. Clean and crisp Pilsener, I cannot believe that the Ibel brews come from the pig sty next to the brewpub.

pivnizub (11008) - Bochum, GERMANY - JUN 10, 2007
On tap at the brew-pub: Pale greenish-golden coloured, mid-sized, quite stable white head; delicate hoppy and sweet-malty nose, a bit barnyardy, too; sweetish-bitter flavour, light sweet-malty and bitter finish. O.K., quite mediocre by franconian standards....
