COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is a medium-bodied, amber colored beer with a distinctive aroma and refreshing flavor. Northern brewer, centennial and cascade hops are combined with caramel barley to achieve a delightful balance of natural sweetness and assertive hop finish. Harvest Pale Ale is dry-hopped to give this beer an amazing hop aroma. It’s an excellent choice for the descriminating palate. Harvest Pale Ale is available in bottles and draft and is best served at 45°F-50°F.

UPDATED: OCT 27, 2007 Very hazy amber with a loose head. Woody nose reminiscent of cascades. Crisp character. Slight lime note. Lots of toast. A decent middle-of-the-road pale.

Sampled draught at Ice Harbor Brewpub in Kennewick, WA
Pale gold, light white head with some lacing. Nose of faint hops and wheatish tasting malts. The flavor is tart and lightly bitter, not very balanced but drinkable and smooth.

Bronze/copper color, white head, retained, plenty of lace. Good dry-hopped aroma. Avery nice pale ale, hoppier than SNPA, which I like, good body with some malt presence. Nothing shocking here(cascade & centennial), well done but not original.

Hazy light amber color with thin off white head.Light flowery hop nose.Good malt fore and midtaste, decent hop finish. Ok, but really nothing special.

Dark Gold color, medium head. Medium head and malts. Medium bodied Pale Ale, somewhat fruity, slightly sweet, balanced with a sharp hoppyness. Crisp and refreshing. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

VENOM (941) - Connecticut, USA - JUN 24, 2002
Hazy amber with some thin flakes. Thin foamy off white head. Very light carbonation. Evergreen aroma, light spearmint notes. Crisp and bold with bitter hop flavors, notes of evergreen and mint. Light toasted caramel hints. Medium bodied. Quaffable. Dryish with a spicy alcohol bite. Nicely balanced. Finishes mellow yet still bitterly hoppy with prominent evergreen flavors. A decent session brew.

Re-Rate 06/05/02: Nice deep amber color, the head frothy and beige, the nose lightly floral, huge ’Hits’ of malt. Front is sweet, the top is light, big hop finish, dry, acidic, and much more drinkable than their ’Red’.
