UPDATED: OCT 27, 2007 Very hazy amber with a loose head. Woody nose reminiscent of cascades. Crisp character. Slight lime note. Lots of toast. A decent middle-of-the-road pale. BückDich (5477) - McCall, Idaho, USA - MAY 9, 2005

Pale gold, light white head with some lacing. Nose of faint hops and wheatish tasting malts. The flavor is tart and lightly bitter, not very balanced but drinkable and smooth.
Bronze/copper color, white head, retained, plenty of lace. Good dry-hopped aroma. Avery nice pale ale, hoppier than SNPA, which I like, good body with some malt presence. Nothing shocking here(cascade & centennial), well done but not original.

Hazy amber with some thin flakes. Thin foamy off white head. Very light carbonation. Evergreen aroma, light spearmint notes. Crisp and bold with bitter hop flavors, notes of evergreen and mint. Light toasted caramel hints. Medium bodied. Quaffable. Dryish with a spicy alcohol bite. Nicely balanced. Finishes mellow yet still bitterly hoppy with prominent evergreen flavors. A decent session brew. Gusler (2652) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - JUN 5, 2002
Re-Rate 06/05/02: Nice deep amber color, the head frothy and beige, the nose lightly floral, huge 'Hits' of malt. Front is sweet, the top is light, big hop finish, dry, acidic, and much more drinkable than their 'Red'. Puss Gutt99 (206) - Oldtown, Florida, USA - JAN 13, 2002
love that panama red color and the hoppy bite...............................
