2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
6th August 2008. On tap at GBBF. Pretty bland golden ale with a slight note of sulfur on the nose that carries over to the taste.
Cask Handpump at the GBBF Earl’s Court, London 09/08/2008
Malt and some fruit aroma. Golden coloured and hoppy with a little bitterness in a crisp and dry malt finish. Christian (13670) - Odense, DENMARK - JUL 30, 2009
Golden with a small white head. Weak fruity aroma. Dry and malty flavour with fruity notes. Alphadelic (2237) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAR 17, 2009
Still and with far too many LARGE floaties. Light raspberry and cranberry aromas twinned with a little banana yeast and cereals. Quite sweet with pale maltiness and touches of the fruit found in the aroma. I’m too scared of the loose yeast to be able to drink this anything other than highly tentatively. It’s really not worth the money or time this one. Might have to dump it. imdownthepub (14555) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JAN 31, 2009
Bottle conditioned, 500ml. Clouded gold no head. After a fruitless evening of beer searching, decided to open this one, which was a bit unfortunate. Some English brewers really should put more effort into their bottle conditioned beers, it’s the fastest growing part of the market. This was close to being infected, thin with a sharp tart note and really pretty flat. Unfortunate.

Golden colour, small white foamy head. Aroma is fruity hops, nectar, wood and some notes of yeast. Flavour is metallic, grassy and hoppy. Quite harsh flavour.
Cask at GBBF 08. Gold, lasting white head. Some yeast/hop on aroma. Bit yeasty maybe. Little bit dull. Building hop sting on the finish. It’s a golden ale. KimJohansen (10492) - Frederiksberg C, DENMARK - AUG 9, 2008
