Zlotta (3188) - Hagen / Bonn, GERMANY - JAN 23, 2017
0.33 l bottle from ’Prik & Tik Baelus’, Cuvée 2013, best before May 2021. Clear, deep ruby with a medium large, frothy, rather quickly diminishing, beige head. Sourish-fruity, slightly vinous aroma of red grapes, oak, balsamic vinegar and a touch of brett funk. Sweet, slightly sourish, quite fruity and a bit vinous taste of red grapes, brown sugar, oak, some balsamic vinegar and slight hints of brett, followed by a short, just slightly bitter, moderately tart, a bit vinous-dry and minimally metallic finish. Thin to medium body, minimally astringent and quite effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Quite tasty, a bit too sweet but still very pleasant, not overly complex but with a nice, bretty and vinous touch.

Donker rood bruin bier met crème kleurige schuimkraag. Geur: zuur, vineus. Smaak: zoetzuur, veel zoeter dan ik me herinner. Normale koolzuurprikkel. Afdronk: licht zuur, tannine.

gingertipple (34) - Antwerp, BELGIUM - DEC 15, 2016
I was drinking the 2013, perhaps the newer ones are better. Oak aging flavor came through but the sourness was gone. Aroma was weak and did not leave a long lasting flavor on the palette.

3.9
SvanteL (489) - SWEDEN - DEC 4, 2016

3.5
martjoobolut (4224) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - NOV 23, 2016
Bottle, BB 2014 (from beliguminabox). Pours dark amber-brown. Aroma is sweet, candy, malt, some sourness. Flavor is sour and sweet, candy, malt. Feels smooth. Body is on the thin side. Drinkability is good. Overall: good, but I would probablt like fresher bottle better.
