Aroma of dried fruit, apples, honey and herbs. moderately carbonated with thin head Tastes like couple bottles of beer that I brewed locally and which didn’t turned out .. sour ..but unpleasant sour Medium palate Would recommend to try .. but no more

UPDATED: NOV 18, 2017 Enjoyed this in the past as Strubbe's Grand Cru Flemish Red Ale. Wonder if they changed the recipe, really enjoyed this previously. Significantly sweet - not as much as Duchesse or Rodenbach, but not a "sour" sour if you know what I mean. Well-balanced, finishes clean, might be good with sausages or other fatty foods but doesn't work as a self-drinker for me.

BelgiskOlklub (1085) - Viby J, DENMARK - NOV 10, 2017
Red brown clear body and a small diminishing off-white head. Aroma of sweet cherries, brown sugar, oak and vanilla. The taste has medium sweetness and medium sourness. Sweet rather than sour finish.

A solid Flanders red. Sweeter than the average. Nice amount of cherry, earthy qualities and hints of vinegary sourness.

Erzengel (9497) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - OCT 7, 2017
Great woody beginning. Malt, red wood, cherries. Moderate sweetish, nice fresh fruity, caramel, wood and cherries. Great.

Bottle shared with Erzengel! A clear dark orange brown beer with a small off-white head. Aroma of tart red fruits, riped fruits, oak. Taste of riped cherries, medium sweet red fruits, some oak, good!

Draught @ Patricks Pub og Restaurant, Kristiansand
Pours hazy brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, funk, tart, caramel and hint of brown sugar. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium sour with a long funky, tart, caramel and fruity finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft

Bottle from Carrefour City Supermarket, Brussels, Belgium. Bright amber with a thin white head. It has a sour red fruity, spicy flavour with cherries, earthy notes and oak on the finish. Very good.

Rami Rami is drinking an Ichtegem’s Grand Cru by Brouwerij Strubbe at Play Label Rooftop Intensywne owocowo-drewniano-winne, kwasnosc spora ale jest i slodycz ewidentna, bardzo lekkie, malo ciala, spore wysycenie. Jak napoj.
Rami Rami: Nie ma octu. Jest duzo co2. Specyficzne, przez wodnistosc (ciala brak!) a zarazem intensywnosc (aromaty, smaki)
