A decent example of a Flemish sour ale, but not overly special. cgarvieuk (25697) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JAN 31, 2010

Bottled. Copper colour, small head. Light vinegary nose. Rather light bodied. Dry, despite some fruity malt sweetness, notes of oak, butter, tart lingonberry and cherry. Lightly citric and vinegary. Pretty good, but not as complex as the best Flemish browns IMO. Papsoe (25059) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - APR 18, 2008
(Bottle 75 cl) Courtesy of BelJohansen. Pours a clear, orangey brown with a dense, off-white head leaving some laces. Sweet and sour aroma with a woody touch. Rather light-bodied, vinous, notes of dried fruit, berries and lots of woody accents. The finish is lightly sour. Not exactly overwhelming but a pleasant and quaffable sour. 220308
