Bottle. Large creamy like beige head that mostly lasted. Good display of lacework. Somewhat clear sparkling boyd with a mahogany colour. Aroma was berry, light unripe apple, hint of vinegar, yeast and light brown sugar. Medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Flavour was moderated sweet with hint of acidic. Not enough sour notes to balance this Flemish Sour. Somewhat brown sugar and light metallic sweet finish. Maria (10211) - Thisted, DENMARK - MAY 1, 2007
Beautiful red mahogany and a loose head with big bobbles. The aroma is sweet/sour with berry notes. The flavour is surprisingly sweet, too much for my liking in a sour. It has notes of berries and a hint of licorice. 1968 ha1ag (917) - Maastricht, NETHERLANDS - APR 30, 2007
25 cl bottle, hazy mahagony color, small quickly diminishing beige head with proper lacing. Lightly sweet taste, with oak flavour. a bit sour taset comes in the finish. harrisoni (18823) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - MAR 22, 2007
25cl bottle from Noel Cuveliers, Abele. Deep ruby/brown colour with lasting tan head. Woody dry malt, tiny bit of sourness. Some sourness in mouth, but sweet candy sugar too. This leads to a sourish finish. Odd lemony deep malt flavour. A dubbel with a touch of lemony sourness. Sourness is definitely there, but offset by sweet malt. thewolf (12635) - Kolding, DENMARK - MAR 3, 2007
Bottle. Pours a dark ruby-amber with a little creamy off white head. Aroma is moldy with clear ryebread tones. Flavour is initially quite sour, bt quickly turns sweet with a caramelly edge. A touch of fruitiness as well.
