Draft pour pint at Icicle. Not retired I guess. Pours a clear shiny golden color with a thin fizz head. Near absent aroma with straw. Light lager, pencil reminders, straw notes. Corn late palate. Not bad. Bornyensis (321) - BELGIUM - OCT 5, 2015
Laag bier, een beetje Duits achtig. Weinig of geen schuimkraag. Wel lekker om te drinken. riversideAK (6261) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - FEB 9, 2013
Nose of bread, light to moderate sweet maltiness, and a soft noble hop presnce. perhaps a touch of apple. Pours golden, thin head that settles to not much of anything. Flavors of bread, soft malty sweetness, a little noble hop and a touch of green apple. Carbonation could probably have fit to be a little more assertive. Meh. Sample at the brewpub. Pours a clear golden color with a medium foamy white head that evaporates steadily. Spotty lacing. Aroma of herbal hops and malt. Light-bodied with a mildly bitter herbal hops character with some sweet malt and fruit in the background. The finish is lightly hoppy with a short fruity aftertaste. Decent for the style. Loved it! Good solid german lager, just wished they had a distributor around here...

Draft at brewery: I suppose this one would make a good stepping-stone beer for A-B MillerCoors drinkers. It’s light and clean with only a hint of bitterness. It’s also crisply carbonated, making it refreshing and easy to quaff. Other than some faint flavors of bread and toast, it’s pretty muted and non-palate-challenging. Perfect for tourists in search of something like Bud, etc., I suppose.
