slighly cloudy copper pour - aroma of brown sugar and grapfruit with pine - citrus notes with malt and lingering malt - the hop/malt balance is quite good. This one isn’t a hop bomb but it’s up there.

(En fût à la source): Bombe parfumée avec un goût distinct de pétale de rose dans une structure céréalière frêle et friable.

This is pretty heavy on the caramel malt. The flavor has some faint hops but it feels more like an English pale to me.

Dark for an APA, and I’ll agree with the dry and pithy. Some grapefruit and a good dose of caramel and earth/spice. Ok.

On tap at the brewery

Clear dark amber with a medium sized off-white head, lots of sticky lacing. Aroma is fruity, pine and mild caramel. Taste is floral, mild caramel and pine

A nice, easy drinking Pale Ale

On draft at the brewery. Pours a clear deep copper with an ecru head. Flavors of grass and orange. Light bitter finish.

Draft at Outback Steakhouse in Idaho Falls, ID. Pro tip: NEVER go to Idaho Falls, ID. The beer wasn’t bad though... Served in a pint glass. Pours deep copper/red, thin off-white head, decent lacing. Nose is grassy hops, some spice, light citrus comes off more like limes than anything else, which is interesting... Flavours are medium to dry, surprisingly so for such a "dark pale". lots of grass, citrus pith, again more like lime than anything else, a bit of boiled vegetables in the finish. But after a 12 hour drive, I’m not complaining.

Draft at IDA airport. Great to see two local craft brews on at a small airport. Clear golden color, thick and creamy white head, delicate lacing. Aroma of grass, straw, pine. Taste is light grass and pale malts. Decent enough.
