From the 750 ml. bottle dated Nov 2016. The label reads 9/8% ABV. Slightly cloudy amber-orange pour under a fading off-white head. The aroma has a notable ester of Belgian bread, yeast, sweet malts, and a citrus spicy note. No booze in the aroma. More so in the taste however. 750 ml bottle with a date of 1/22/13. Snifter shows a hazy amber gold with thin lasting head. Aroma is fruity yeast and dusty malts.

Flavor is lightly fruity with candidate sugar, apricots and a light spice toward the finish. Even after the cellaring I still pick up a slight alcohol note. Lighter body with chewy, yeasty texture. Big yeast presence. Overall no flaws yet pretty forgettable.
Bomber. Hazy gold with a foamy white head that lasts and laces. Aromas of peach, banana, spice, yeast and light mango. Flavor is citrusy peach upfront with spice and light yeast in the middle and finishes with a sweet malty/boozy notes. Medium to full bodied. Lingering spice. 22oz Bottle pour in a goblet. Golden wheat color with a generous white fluffy head. Distinct Belgian abbey and trappiste aroma. Carbonation is more than expected for style but not overwhelming. Taste is classic abbey and does not linger. Clean palate and strong alcohol passes quickly. Sampled @ Mass Brewers Fest @ Julio’s Liquors. Poured orange/gold with a one finger whitehead. Sweet candied fruit aroma with a bit of funk.
