750 from Corti Bros. Pours reddish amber with a rich beige head and a citrus and bread aroma. There is a medium-bodied smoked malt flavor with a hint of spice and a dry finish. bhensonb (15858) - Woodland, California, USA - FEB 21, 2012
Capped 750 from Corti Bros. in Sacramento, CA. Pours as a hazy, slightly ruddy, amber with a 3 finger frothy collapsing beige head. Nose is citrus, along with a little caramel and hot bits. Near full bodied. Flavor starts grapey! There is some light citrus, possibly zest. It’s fairly dry, and decently bitter. After I get past the "grape", it seems lightly bready. Then the "grape" returns. Let’s just say there’s malt, fruit and mild spice. It drinks pretty darn good, and I do think it would go well with spicy food. If the curry shows up soon, I will find out! Colore ambrato con fine schiuma. Al naso frutta e spezie. In bocca molto bevibile, con corpo leggero, poco dolce, e per niente amara nel finale.
