A perfect blend of Cascade, Centennial, and Northern Brewer hops gives this classic India Pale Ale the kind of robust flavor that Il Vicino restaurants are known for. This lush hop character is layered with rich malt undertones to create a tasty and satisfying ale. Tawny-hued and aromatic, Wet Mountain IPA is a brew you won't soon forget. [At GABF 2004] A hazy orange beer with a small off-white head. The aroma is sweet and very grassy and hoppy, while the flavor contains lots of hop oils, with a dry grassy end.

Cask at GBBF 2011, Day 2. Pours dark, amber-gold with a bubbly, white head. Big citrus hop aroma, some bits of grapefruit and melon - nice. Flavor is alright, not as good as the nose. Notes of caramel, ripe citrus. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Light warming finish, light resinous hops, good notes of citrus and pine. Very good beer.

Draught, Santa Fe location. Amber with a slight haze and thin head. Big, assertive hop aroma - woody with grapefruity accents. Pithy bitterness with nice and very subtle brown sugar sweetness. Rich, earthy and again slightly grapefruity in character. Very good, balanced, easy-drinking IPA.

Bottle poured a hazy copper with a small diminishing amber head. Aromas of carmel, light citrus and some floral notes. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of carmel, generic light citrusand a bitof grassiness with a crisp lightly bitter finish. More of a pale ale than an IPA in my opinion.
