Plastic bottle unpoured. Scent is fairly standard Kvass and some herbal properties. Taste is consistent with caramelised brown sugar. Quite light. Good. jjsint (3436) - Leicester, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - MAR 30, 2017
33cl bottle at the Egle open-air cafe. Reddish-brown, clear and flat. Rye grain smell with that sour spicy bready smell you get with kvass. Tastes sweeter than I’d hoped, but not as sweet as some kvass can get. There’s a nice souring balance leading into the finish. Caraway and vegetal notes in the aftertaste. Not bad. visionthing (5496) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - SEP 11, 2016
50cl bottle from a supermarket somewhere in Latvia. Pours clear brown with a lightly reddish hue and no head to speak of in the end. Malty, bready and sugary aroma with notes of dark, dried fruits. Sweet and bready with some acidty. Farily thin and watery and not the best kvass I’ve tried, but drinkable enough. dnicolaescu (2683) - Chișinău, MOLDOVA - AUG 30, 2016
BOTTLE 33 CL. Clear red-brown, small beige head. Sweet aroma of molasses and cherry pie. The taste is very sweet, cherry or maybe plum pie. High carbonation and moderate acidity, that seems at least partially lactic. A frutier kind of kvass. phfyysik (1395) - Tartu, ESTONIA - MAR 2, 2016

Bottle @ Post-Easter Procrastination, Ulfborg. Pours hazy copper brown with barely any head. Clear aroma of bread, malt and yeast. Sweet flavour of caramel, molasses, bread and malt. Sweetish aftertaste. Not the worst kvass I have had but the sweetness is just deafening. Rasmus40 (21696) - Beder, Aarhus, DENMARK - APR 11, 2015

1,5L bottle (as Tanheiser Kvass Originaal). Pours copper-brown with small light brown head. The head stays for a moment. Aroma is sweet, malt extract, some fruity notes, burnt sugar. Flavor is sweet, malt extract, some sour notes, fruity notes, honey. Finish is sour-malty-sweet. Carbonation is rather high. Overall: too sweet and sticky, but I would take this over some crappy alcohol free beer any day.
