Bottle shared by Dan n thanks. Short grey head. Mild roasted malty aroma and taste. Small sweetness for a milk stout. Balanced bitterness. HogTownHarry (6622) - Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, CANADA - NOV 15, 2015
October 20, 2013 - gravity cask at Cask Days 2013. Murky brown with a decent frothy beige/tan head. Smells like a cocoa-y bitter - sweet and floral, not all that much roast - don’t get the cranberry at all. Taste - again, a bitter; floral, light roast, not much alcohol or tartness ... thick, astringent, a little still - unmemorable finish. mikeyo1 (816) - Linköping, SWEDEN - APR 25, 2015
Bottle @ home, a year past best before. Pours a dark red liquid with a small tan head and sticky lacing. Aroma is malty and somewhat fruity with notes of dark fruits, dark bread, caramel. Taste has bitterness throughout, and notes of dark fruits, caramel, burnt sugar, red fruits, resin, biscuits and dark bread. Sticky carbonation and lingering dark chocolate (!) and sour apple. 500 ml bottle. Clear, dark amber body with a thin tan head. Light aroma of dark malt, bread and a faint hint of toast. Flavor is medium sweet malt and slightly harsh bitterness. Medium body and average in aftertaste. Pretty one-dimensional and boring. Stuu666 (13094) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - FEB 3, 2015
Bottle at Craig’s. Pours dark brown, taste is sweet milky roast chocolate, not too fruity.

Bottle from archer road beer stop, sheffield. Dark red with small off white head. Roasted malt and tart fruit. Sweet and tart with lasting bitterness. A little over carbonated for me. Ok. SilverfoX (871) - Norfolk, ENGLAND - DEC 27, 2014
smells like chocolate and melting plastic (!?) black body with ruby edging, dry, watery chocolatey average and not at all what it should have been. sdmmb (1826) - BELGIUM - SEP 23, 2014
