A dry crisp pale ale strongly hopped with wonderfully floral Nelson Sauvin hops to give a strong but mellow citrus finish.

An excellent pale from Ilkley, pours golden in colour, pungent NZ hops in the Aroma. Taste is catty, grassy NZ hops, with a perfectly pitched bitterness for a pale ale. Nelson Sauvin hops are used to great effect here, I would easily put this beer right up there with Kernel and Magic Rocks offerings.

Golden body, white head. Dry grainy malty aroma, similar taste, malt-dominated... Not as much hoppiness as one would expect here. Will rerate in the future.

UPDATED: NOV 25, 2017 Cask at Sun Inn. Pours a clear yellow with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces. Aroma has lots of bread with some earthy grain and biscuit. Flavor has light grass with grains and biscuit supporting.

Clear golden, citrus and caramel in the scent. Taste follows suit, with some nice, dry grapefruit. Slightly bitter / spur aftertaste. Solid.

Cask at Congress, Longton. Pours gold. Some stone fruit, smooth, little citrus. Refreshing pale.

imdownthepub (15426) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - MAY 24, 2017
Cask conditioned at Cherry Reds Cafe Bar, Birmingham. Gold with white head. There is a pleasant, light resinous, oily hopped note to this, zesty, citrusy along with a kiwi fruit skin note. Drying and refreshing. Good beer.

Bottle. Pours a dark gold colour with a fluffy white head, aroma is light and hoppy with hints of fruit, taste is medium bitterness with plenty of fruit coming through with a dry bitter finish.

Bottle. Kiwi, sherbet. Fresh and clean. Not a lot of depth. Decent pale but not a keeper

DruncanVeasey (8326) - Nr NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - MAR 5, 2017
March 2016. Solid stuff like a vintage (Oakham) Citra; stewed greenery, mandarin and monkey nut. Low headed orange. Aroma of nettles, celery and pith. Reminds me of how Landlord used to taste. Bitter, earthy ans herbal but not overly so. Very likeable.
