Poured from a bomber. Aroma is huge coffee. Flavors are coffee and caramel. Very nice for a straight up coffee beer. Touché indeed! blklab2007 (2120) - Connecticut, USA - APR 12, 2014
Bottle poured a rich brown color with a thick chewy off white head that held on very well. Aroma has dark coffee, brown malt, mild caramel, and a slight hit of dark sweet fruit. Mouth feel is medium light with average carbonation. Flavor again leads with coffee, almost no bitterness, dark rich malts, and a smooth finish. Incredibly clean coffee and the lack of bitterness for the strength is amazing! klschulte (2) - Chanhassen, Minnesota, USA - MAY 3, 2014 does not count
One of the better coffee brews I have had in a while. Strong coffee flavor but well balanced without any bitterness. Yum...could drink this with brunch.

Pours a dark brown with rapidly-dissipating head. Aroma of roast coffee. Flavor is primarily dark roast coffee, with a bit of spiciness, and some sweet malt underneath. Very smooth and tasty. XmnwildX12 (2079) - Farmington, Minnesota, USA - MAR 15, 2013
On tap at the brewery, pours a reddish brown with minimal tan head. Scent is all coffee grounds, like walking into a coffee shop. Taste is like a cup of coffee, I actually really enjoy this even though it doesn't have much of a beer flavor.

Great coffee beer. I think they used a local NE Minneapolis coffee shop for the coffee. Great on the palate. Coffee and dark stout flavors. ryanfolty (2545) - Bourbon County, Minnesota, USA - MAR 16, 2013
March 16, 2013 - Bottle shared by Brandon. Light brown pour with some head that stuck around a bit. Aroma and taste were roasted malt and big time coffee. Thin to medium body and dry finish. Atom (2442) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - MAR 21, 2013
On tap brewery pours a orangish brown with a large off-white head. Aroma of fresh roasted coffee and caramel. Taste is roasted coffee and caramel with some slight nuttiness. Mellow smooth and enjoyable. Easier to drink and enjoy the coffee then a lot of heavy coffee stouts.
