COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Regionally grown American pale malt is blended with rich European malts to produce a lighter bodied beer, bright in color, with a taught white head that keeps track of time as you sip. Then there are the hops – four pounds per barrel to be exact. Willamettes, Cascades, CTZ and Summits give this brew a citrus punch and spicy character that greets you in the nose and embraces your mouth with a clean, crisp bitterness.

Dark golden to amber in color. Big fluffy, lasting canvas colored head. Not a clean smelling aroma. Citrus and soapy dish water comes to mind. Some rubber also wanders about. Bits of pale malt in the front lead to a dry slightly acidic middle. Some grapefruit zest is the main actor. There is a bit of malt that returns in the finish and linger that helps me carry on. Still a day trip that is a longer journey than I care for as the linger is strictly citric zest.

Color naranja, turbio, con capa de espuma blanca de dos dedos de grosor (buena retención). Carbonatación suave. Textura oleosa. Aroma húmedo, a pomelo, naranja, pino, malta caramelizada. En boca hay mucho pomelo y pino, naranja, menos malta que en nariz pero perceptible. Final de amargor resinoso medio y duradero. Típica APA que parece IPA pero no por ello menos rica.

On tap at Minneapolis airport. Pours a slightly hazy golden/orange with moderate white head that leaves some nice lacing. Aroma is as I expected, with citrus, pine, and some earthiness. Taste is bitter but not outrageously so. Body is medium with average carbonation and a smooth mouthfeel.

Slight tropical hint to the aroma, pick up some pineapple along with the light spruce. Decent pale ale flavor, some minty spiciness, a bit of light citrus bitterness, hints of biscuit-like maltiness.
