COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Regionally grown American pale malt is blended with rich European malts to produce a lighter bodied beer, bright in color, with a taught white head that keeps track of time as you sip. Then there are the hops four pounds per barrel to be exact. Willamettes, Cascades, CTZ and Summits give this brew a citrus punch and spicy character that greets you in the nose and embraces your mouth with a clean, crisp bitterness.

UPDATED: MAR 11, 2015 Can: Half murky copper pipe color with a slowly settling creamy top. Nice walls of lacing at the top. Aroma is pretty nice. Some pungent hops, ashy and herbal citrus peel, deeper grapefruit flesh, too. Leafy and juicy. Taste is much more abundantly bitter... Almost tongue scraping. Herbaceous, lots of white pepper and leaves. Very peely and pithy citric character. Dry finish, understated malt with a touch of toast, pretty nice. Not as drinkable or balanced as many pale ales but still tasty.

From can. Light amber with frothy white head. Awesome hop aroma. Citrus and lots of hop musk. Taste starts with a light malt and frothy mouthfeel and ends with more spice and a more moderate bitter finish. It's not quite as malty as a Midwest pale ale but also more aggressive than most US pal ales. Nice to try this great beer out of Minnesota thanks to my future sister in law. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

355mL can thanks to BSchnab! Cloudy deep orange. Thick, rocky yellowish foam. Webby lace. Nose off the bat is bright citrus hops, fresh grapefruit, candied orange, mild butterscotch. Taste is a bit dusty, moving to heavy paper. Abrasive palate. Hmm, not my style of APA.
