Regionally grown American pale malt is blended with rich European malts to produce a lighter bodied beer, bright in color, with a taught white head that keeps track of time as you sip. Then there are the hops four pounds per barrel to be exact. Willamettes, Cascades, CTZ and Summits give this brew a citrus punch and spicy character that greets you in the nose and embraces your mouth with a clean, crisp bitterness.

12 oz. can from TheHOFF43- thanks again, Kyle! Canned 8/28/14. Pours a clear gold with a big off-white head. Notes of straw, pale and sweet malts, grass, cracker, light florals, and orange zest. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a dry, lightly bitter mouthfeel. Pretty simple APA. Not bad.

12oz can, canned 08/28/14. Mostly clear golden orange color. Thin off-white head. Dots and bits of lace. Bready biscuity hop, mild caramel, kind of spicy peppery hop, herbal and mild citrus. Moderate to bigger taste, light sweet. Medium body. Smooth kind of crisp lighter carbonation, lightly slick finish. Solid hoppy bitter pale ale.

Can - Amber pour with a thin off white head. Nose is huge orange rind and dry malt, a little herbal hopping. Taste is dry and bitter with citrus rind and orange marmalade, real dry malt. Medium-thin with mellow carbonation.

Keg @ Happy Gnome. Gold pour with a small head. Nose of tropical fruit salad and sea salt. Trade wind goodness. Honeyed fruit tart. Some underarm. Taste is super dry. Loads of grassy hops. Light salt. Dust. Some Bread. Exceedingly dry hop juice. Some citrus. Light body, soft carb. Interesting. This is in my wheelhouse, but I could see people hating this beers structure.

Deep orange, light brown with a minimal white foam. Pine, citrus, and tropical hop aroma is strong for a pale ale. Lots of hop flavor make this more IPA than pale ale. Nontheless, nice body and refreshing.

A dark orange copper color with a finger of white bubbly head that settles around the rim. Strong citrus aromas, especially orange, pine, a little floral, a sweet malt in the back. Taste is a solid bitter, almost a cheese like quality in it, nice caramel malt finish to cut down the bitter, but the bitter does come back and sit on the tongue. Also a hoppy biscuit on the tongue as well. Solid pale ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

2014 can. Slightly hazy light golden color with a white head. Aroma is light malt with a nice zesty citrus smell and a little caramel. Taste is dominated by a crisp bitterness that settles into an earthy, grassy flavor on the tongue. The malt, citrus and caramel are present but underneath the nice bitterness. Has a nice medium mouthfeel.

This beer is solid as hell. Aroma is bright, with resinous pine and a dank citrus. Also some sweetness there as well. The taste is the same, nice moderate pine and bitterness, dank, resinous, some citrus notes, bitter grapefruit and a tinge of something on the end that resembles cannabis. Not too thin, not too big, just right. A little big on the flavor for pale ale, but at 5.4%ABV, Ill crush these all day long.
