COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Regionally grown American pale malt is blended with rich European malts to produce a lighter bodied beer, bright in color, with a taught white head that keeps track of time as you sip. Then there are the hops – four pounds per barrel to be exact. Willamettes, Cascades, CTZ and Summits give this brew a citrus punch and spicy character that greets you in the nose and embraces your mouth with a clean, crisp bitterness.

Can at an Indeed tasting at the Beer&Beyond, Tel Aviv. Clear golden with white head. Quite hoppy aroma with notes of citrus (orange), caramel and peach. Bitter flavor with notes of citrus (grapefruit), grassy, some graininess, "green", kind of hops juice. Medium-bodied.

On tap at Minneapolis airport. Pours a slightly hazy golden/orange with moderate white head that leaves some nice lacing. Aroma is as I expected, with citrus, pine, and some earthiness. Taste is bitter but not outrageously so. Body is medium with average carbonation and a smooth mouthfeel.

Slight tropical hint to the aroma, pick up some pineapple along with the light spruce. Decent pale ale flavor, some minty spiciness, a bit of light citrus bitterness, hints of biscuit-like maltiness. Smooth, creamy mouthfeel.

Nice hoppy pale. Tall can. Clear orange with thin white head. Aroma and flavor are orange peel/grapefruit, spicy hops and a touch of floral hops. Pretty well balanced with sweetish earthy caramel malt. Moderate bitterness.

balloonbuffoon (319) - - APR 21, 2017
UPDATED: MAY 6, 2017 Draft in a chalice glass. Light copper in color, resin and citrus fruit aroma. Palate is medium in body and is abrasive. This is not a balanced APA. More like an American IPA, and a mediocre one if considered as such. This beer is not for me. Edited comments, not an actual review update.

16 oz can poured a clear orange amber with a lasting amber head. Aromas of bread, earthiness, grapefruit, light pine and a hint of orange zest. Palate was light to medium bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of biscuit, earthiness, grapefruit and pine with a crisp dry lingering bitter finish.
