COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Regionally grown American pale malt is blended with rich European malts to produce a lighter bodied beer, bright in color, with a taught white head that keeps track of time as you sip. Then there are the hops – four pounds per barrel to be exact. Willamettes, Cascades, CTZ and Summits give this brew a citrus punch and spicy character that greets you in the nose and embraces your mouth with a clean, crisp bitterness.

Great pale ale! Dangerously drinkable... always a nice go to at the he end of the day. Light hoppy flavor with citrus tones on the back end. Comparable to the ballast point grunion.

UPDATED: MAY 15, 2016 I’ve had Indeed Day Tripper many times and for good reason. A real hoppy American pale ale that are very drinkable. MN really has some great beers.

The smell is just wonderful. But then you take a sip and you feel the hops hitting the taste buds and you just sit back and enjoy the ride. Good thing it is called Day Tripper.

Poured into a pint glass from a 12oz can. Super light in color, some medium yellow with a light orange hue, sticky off-white head with some deep resin aromas. Very impressive hop presence, that blends really well. A great, great pale, one of the finest.

Intense pine and caramel nose, subtle rosehip note. Cloudy amber, thick head, good lacing. Lemon and pine flavor, whole orange at midpalate, finishes with grapefruit peel and lemongrass. Light body, slightly tangy, considerably bitter. Superb balance and intensity, full of nuance. I could totally rate this higher, but I feel like I’m getting carried away. I wish I could get this more often.

Bottle cheers to Ryan. Hazy golden pour with a sticky white head. Nose is very big and grassy! Massive pine needles. Taste shows a heap of grass and pine again while a touch of citric rind comes through. A subtle hint of barnyard notes as well which is appealing. Fantastic
