Fantastic, great honey! This is an upcoming brewery. With this and hot box, which are flagships. Every beer I have had from them is solid, great showing at Rochester beer fest. The rating here is absurd, this is a homerun beer. If you get the chance, dig in. Cheers! shghn (7) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - FEB 9, 2015 does not count
JFC this beer is fascinating. I don't know whether to shotgun it or to sip on it for hours. Has great aromas of honey, mint, and citrus. The ABV is non-apparent at 8%, but it's a golden lager!?! Its immensely satisfying, yet easy to drink (especially with spicy food/tacos which is how I'm enjoying it).
Way to go, Indeed. Busting out a beer like this just proves your attention to detail and over all quality. Drink it! badgerben (5112) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - OCT 18, 2014
GABF 2014. Gold color with a small head. Floral honey aroma. Strong Noble hop flavor. Plenty of honey. Some corn and grain notes. Guerde (1297) - Leuven, BELGIUM - FEB 16, 2015
(can) First I have to say kudos to Indeed for ditching the 750 ml format for this beer and switching to a 4 pack of cans. The beer is now cheaper (was $11 to $12 for a 750, now $10.50 for a 4 pack) and you get more per oz for your dollar. I’ve had this once before and was impressed, and am now having it again due to the format change. Pours a clear yellow color with a medium white head. Aroma holds some floral honey, faint bugspray, musty lager yeast, and tangelo zest. Further warming reveals green banana and cardamom. Flavor holds some pale malt sweetness that combines with the hops to zip over to juicy tangelo territory before being flung out into the graham cracker sector. Finish yields a light herbal bitterness with floral honey in the far finish. Mouthfeel is medium and carbonation is a little lively, which makes this feel less like a big beer than it actually is. Alcohol is imperceptible in the flavor, which I feel is quite an accomplishment, but there is a trace of heat in the nose. I liked this before and I still like it now; even more so now that the container has changed, which I imagine will prompt another purchase in the future. Draft at gold nugget. Faint aroma. Clear gold body with no carbonation. Looks and smells like a beer far less worthy than it is. Tons of flavor. Honey sweet. Some black pepper. Really works well.

Distinctive! Fried tortilla chips and malt! Vienna style beer brews from a Dos Equis yeast. Brilliant!

Really solid brew, doesn’t have much honey aspect but it is a sweet and orangey impreial lager. Not sure what the ale part of its name represents. Atom (2418) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - AUG 31, 2013
On tap at brewpub pours a clear golden with a large white head. Aroma is dominated by honey. Lots of honey in the taste but not overbearing or too sweet, nice balance of light dry hops and bready yeast. Pretty solid, I’m usually pretty turned off by beers with honey because of the added sweetness which doesn’t happen here. sthlm (790) - Blank, Alabama, USA - AUG 1, 2014
[Bottle, thanks Guerde!] Pours amber with a small off-white head. Aroma is underlying mild citrus and vague sweetness. Graham cracker, big blast of honey--the sweet aroma reminds me of some sort of frosted dessert I’ve had before. Possibly carrot cake. Taste is very sweet, but still balanced with some good cracker towards the back end. Gets a touch hot after warming. A little thin with a decent length finish. Overall, I really doubted that I would like this beer given that it is an imperial pils. However, the beer really worked for me. Thanks again, Andy!
