On tap. Pours a dark brown/copper hue with small head. Aroma of belgian yeast and spices, light cherries, malt. Taste of malt forward with a little Belgian yeast, cloves with a little tart cherry on the finish. Not bad but probably wouldn't try it again.

Tap at brewery. Goblet. Mahogany with small off white head. Tart aroma. Slightly sour . Very tart taste, definitely reminiscent of cherries. Syrupy. Pretty intense. Bold effort, but not sure it quite worked. thome50 (1295) - Morro Bay via Orange County, California, USA - JUN 12, 2014
Bottle. Pours a deep brown to black with huge light chocolate milk head. Aroma is mostly belgian spice/yeast with some chocolate. Taste is more belgian ester, slight unripe cherry. As the beer warms the cherries really come out. Nice near the finish. JK (6342) - St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA - APR 6, 2014
Sampled at Winterfest 2014. Light cherry, and lots of dark malt to the point I thought it might be a cherry stout. Still good. arminjewell (9727) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - FEB 18, 2014
Pour on tap at the brewery, clear reddish pour with white head, aroma brought notes of big medicine, cherry, powdery notes into some biscuit, bread, hints of a slight cinnamon and yeasty spice in there, pretty dominated by cherry. Taste is a mix of cherry juice, tart cherry, some other berry into some yeast, spice, biscuit, and bread, finishing sweet, medicinal. DalzAle (2040) - Eden Prairie, Minnesota, USA - FEB 15, 2014
Tap. Dark brown pour, a little lasting head and an aroma of plums and dark cherry. Flavor is yeasty rich dark malt and mild cherry from sip to the aftertaste.

On tap @ Indeed. Pours a cloudy ruby maroon appearance with an off white head. Kind of medicinal, black cherry, light raspberry, sort of herbal / weedy, strange aroma. Goopy, dull black cherry, slightly tart, brown sugar, light anise flavor. Bizarre and not that enjoyable. TheHOFF43 (2052) - Robbinsdale, Minnesota, USA - DEC 27, 2013
Tap at Indeed. Pours a very nice brown with minimal head. Aroma is belgian yeast and spices, I get little to no cherry on the nose. The taste is a belgian strong with a little tart cherry at the end. I really wasn’t that impressed, the cherries are non-existent for most of this. bucs572000 (237) - Minnesota, USA - DEC 6, 2013
On tap indeed. Aroma is sweet cherries, spices, and Belgian yeast. Flavors are cherry, pepper, spiced ginger, and slight Belgian yeast. Really like this beer all the flavors mesh very well together. Again another solid offering from indeed!! BVery (11458) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - DEC 5, 2013
UPDATED: DEC 29, 2013 Tap at the brewpub. Hmmm - I was hoping for better. Beautiful pour - dark mahogany with a clingy head. Cherry is playing very strangely in this one. Hard to describe. Smooth palate but just not sure about this concoction.
