Can. A dark brown beer with a huge dark brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt and hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, chocolate, and hops, leading to a dry roasted and bitter finish. Thanks yespr for sharing. joergen (29611) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - APR 5, 2013

Can shared at CBC Islington during the Ryan Tasting - many thanks to Ryan the Can Man. Pours brown with a big, frothy beige head. Good baking cocoa in here, rich pine, some toasty bread. A solid black IPA on the whole. Very drinkable, pretty dynamic.

12 oz. can, sent from khoffman43 (thanks Kyle), pours black with a fairly small tan / light brown head. Aroma is super roasted, with dark roasted malt and burnt espresso, atop some harsh citrus hops - lovely nose. Flavour brings out bitter, dry cocoa, dark roasted malt and slightly burnt espresso, with some fairly potent sprucey, piney hops to balance, leaving a super dry and highly roasted, slightly bitter finish. Delicious black IPA - this is how you do them right. harrisoni (19538) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - OCT 12, 2013
Can from Ryan. Harsh roast. Decent dark chocolate. Lovely chocolate. Not too much hop. Good jtclockwork (17634) - , New Jersey, USA - APR 23, 2013
Can from a generous trader. Pours black with tan head. Nose and taste of roasted chocolate malt, dark roast, dank resin, pine and grapefruit. Bitter grapefruit/resin and pine finish with some chalky roast. Mouthfeel is a little lighter than medium. bhensonb (15969) - Woodland, California, USA - APR 4, 2013
Can from Guerde. Pours black with a creamy light tan head. Aroma is a bit chocolate and smooth dark malt. Hop might be resin. Med body. Main flavor is resin followed by med dark chocolate. Fairly strong flavors. Finishes with a lot of hop bitter over a touch of sweet roast dark malt. Very different - very good. Thanks Andy. DSG (15403) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - JUL 4, 2017
Can at an Indeed tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Dark brown to black, beige head. Aroma of roast, coffee, chocolate, piney and fruity hops, slightly "green". Flavor is rather dry, roasty, hoppy, bitter. Medium-bodied. Good.
