Pour on tap at the brewery, dark reddish pour with thin off white head, aroma brought notes of big spice, coriander, cinnamon, and lots of ginger, sweet honey, caramel, and toffee in there, lots of red and dark fruits in there as well. Taste is a mix of dark fruits, caramel, nice spicy ginger, hints of cinnamon, slight grass, spice, finishing bitter, slightly dry.

badgerben (5170) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - FEB 23, 2013
Brown color with a small head. Ginger and nutmeg aroma. Very potent ginger flavor. After warming, it’s pretty dominant. Definite nutmeg and maybe some cinnamon. Light caramel and dry malt. Almost seemed like an old tobacco character as well.

On tap at Red Cow. Deep Amber with a decent off-white head. Aroma is of ginger, cinnamon, malt. Taste is the same.

jbruner (4734) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - DEC 12, 2015
Pours a deep copper from the bottle with thick tan head that dissipates to leave moderate lace. Aroma of woody smoke, earthy spice, and caramel malt. Taste is more toward the malt and spice, but light and easy, good balance. Really nice holiday spice.

Reddish attractive appearance. A bit of a nutmeg nose on this one. Pretty good.

Pours a deep brown with a thick off white head. Aroma of ginger and that's about it. Taste is light and malty, lots of ginger and some cinnamon. Not very good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
