22oz bottle from my pal Chad. Poured at the Lakehouse. Reddish with white head. Christmas cookie, sweet, gingerbread and spices. Good stuff. crowderm (382) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - DEC 21, 2012
Nice, malt-forward holiday beer. Dark brown/ruby pour, decent head. Aroma of ginger and malt sweetness. The ginger doesn’t come through quite as much in the taste as I was hoping, but instead you get a subtle, nicely balanced, malty brew. Very solid overall. Brown color with a small head. Ginger and nutmeg aroma. Very potent ginger flavor. After warming, it’s pretty dominant. Definite nutmeg and maybe some cinnamon. Light caramel and dry malt. Almost seemed like an old tobacco character as well. Trev (2023) - Lakeville, Minnesota, USA - DEC 7, 2013

Bottle via Levi, thanks for this at Christmas! Pours a hazy medium brown with tan head. Aroma is slight ginger with some chocolate and spice. Taste is thin but has the ginger and malt thing going on. Slight bubble gum and cloves. Nice at Christmas dinner. DalzAle (2037) - Eden Prairie, Minnesota, USA - JAN 5, 2014
Bottle from Amy! Clear dark brown pour, light, thin lasting head and an aroma of sweet (but not overpowering) fresh ginger. Flavor is nutty caramel, mellow ginger & clove and finished a bit sweet. Decent and worth picking up at least once. vikingguy (1106) - Carver, Minnesota, USA - DEC 11, 2015
Dark brownish red with thick foamy head. Aroma of ginger and fruit cake. Taste- spicy and sweet with rich toffee malt. Notes of orange zest and honey and ginger. More fruit cake and a touch of cloves on the back end. Quality Christmas ale.

December 15, 2012 on tap at brewery. Orangish brown pour with head and lacing. Malt, spice and honey in aroma. Taste was consistent with aroma, very nicely balanced for a holiday ale not too much spice and finished with sweetness from the honey. TheHOFF43 (2052) - Robbinsdale, Minnesota, USA - FEB 13, 2013
