Tap at The Brass Tap, Austin. Dark brown color, not much head. Rye bready, toasted aroma. Medium-bodied. Burned malty, a bit boozy, bready flavor. Oat makes this smooth. Not so balanced for my liking but ok. jtclockwork (16436) - , New Jersey, USA - MAR 10, 2011

Bottle from ericandersnavy. Pours black with a tan head. Aroma is smooth burnt malt. Full bodied with creamy carbonation. Flavor is strongly burnt malt, and it’s a little harsh. Finishes with hints of coffee. This is a sturdy IS. Very nice.
