Sample bottle. Pours a hazy brown-red-amber with a high, rocky, cream-cinnamon head. Nose is smoke, malt, orange, dark fruit, and spice; nice blend to it. Deep and complex for an ESB, with a rich, savory undertone; mouthfeel is velvety, almost like a stout. Quite nice. erickok (6036) - Leuven, BELGIUM - JAN 6, 2014
Copper amber body, tapped with tiny head. Clean biscuit malt and very light classic herbal hops, yet simple in appeal. That matches the style but isn’t super appealing. Simple taste too, light bitterness, not very special. Very light spie. It’s okay. (On tap at The Liberty Tavern Austin) Mora2000 (6158) - McKinney, Texas, USA - DEC 13, 2013
Amber pour with a white head. The aroma and flavor have some toffee notes with a bit of nuttyness. I also get a bit of caramel as well as some grass and biscuit malt. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. AmEricanbrew (7011) - Same Trailer, Different Park, Louisiana, USA - AUG 8, 2012

(Draught) cloudy amber with soapy tan head. Nose of grass, bit meaty, weird umami. Taste of grain, pepper, light grass, linger of grain on the palate, oily body.
