COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A beautiful copper color our Extra Special Bitter was formulated by Michael Waters to be true to the English style. While the name suggests something very bitter this beer is all about balance. Sample bottle. Pours a hazy brown-red-amber with a high, rocky, cream-cinnamon head. Nose is smoke, malt, orange, dark fruit, and spice; nice blend to it. Deep and complex for an ESB, with a rich, savory undertone; mouthfeel is velvety, almost like a stout. Quite nice.

Amber pour with a white head. The aroma and flavor have some toffee notes with a bit of nuttyness. I also get a bit of caramel as well as some grass and biscuit malt. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Amber copper color. Holds a white ring head as long as you want. Grainy barley malt aroma with a tinge of bitterness. Holds a bitter tongue for the length of the drink. Draws down clean. Is translucent like a lager Brut an ale surely, given the taste. Enjoy is comfortably and in the presence of good company always.
