On tap at petrol station. Pours a hazy gold with a slight orange hue and a white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has ahold amount of grain and sweet fruits with a bit of backing floral. Flavor is acomvination of sweet grains, sweet fruit and flora. A bit sweet but overall alright. Pour is clear golden with a dense skin of a bright white head...smell is lightly sweet (cereal) and fantastically estery and spicy with some clove, pepper, and faintly fruity...taste is sweet up front with some toasted bread, then some great spicy yeast flavors...finish is lingering and cloying with a viscous mouthfeel... bu11zeye (13239) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - JAN 7, 2011
(Draught) Pours a hazy yellow body with a medium off-white head. Aroma of citrus, herbs, and grass. Flavor of herbs, grass, orange, and light coriander. Dickinsonbeer (5073) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - NOV 22, 2010
GABF 2010. Pours a mostly clear golden with a thin white head. Aroma is grassy, herbal then turns to minty anise, cold smoke, medicinal, and phenolic. Flavor is grassy, green herbs, light toast, with corn, cracker, and DMS- cabbage. Finishes with a touch of anise and licorice- not dry and just kinda messy and out of control. Meh. thirdeye11 (6162) - Dallas, Texas, USA - OCT 27, 2010
(Draught) clear golden pour, soapy bubbles. Nose of grass, florals and honey. Taste of wheat, lemon, and grain mash. It’s really quite tart (which surprised me), which was odd but a nice change in a saison.

On tap at the Draught House 42nd Anniversary Party.
The beer pours a yellow color with a white head. The aroma is peppers, oranges and lemons. The flavor is more of the same, with a lot of lemon and orange notes as well as a lot of spices. I get a lot of white pepper in the flavor and aroma. The spices and citrus notes mix very well together. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. llcooldave (1226) - San Antonio, Texas, USA - SEP 2, 2010
On tap at Flying Saucer in Houston. Cloudy golden color in the glass. Sweet malty citrus aroma with some cheesy notes. It reminds me of the cheese packet from the mac & cheese box. Fruity citrus flavor with some herbal notes; Italian herbs. Overall it’s a decent brew, rather straightforward but i will have to rate more saisons to better learn the style. Flying Saucer: Houston .. Pours a orange tan with haze .. great foam! .. . nice dose of citrus and spice, very drinkable and quite enjoyable! .. definitely getting some better brews from Independence! .. . Oh, I see. That wasn’t in the plans either. While this buzzer sends thousands of volts coursing through my body while he stands back and says, "Remember the AL-amo". Then comes the uncalled for slams against my mother. How she shops in the *husky* section. How she cleared out the all-you-can-eat buffet. Just go ahead say it...my mother is a big fat cow. - Good gracious Al!?! Cavie (4874) - Arlington, Texas, USA - AUG 6, 2010
Tap at Ginger Man Austin. Murky golden orange appearance. Alight white head. Smooth weedy scent with sweet spice and easy grains. Flavor is powdery wheat, with a sugar finish. Easy but strangely sweet. bleeng (1705) - Houston not near Beersel., Texas, USA - JUL 1, 2010
Draft at the Petrol Station Houston TX. Hazy light gold with no head. Nose is sweet and lemony. Taste is very mild, a bit sweet, sticky, some alcohol notes with a very slight horseblanket taste. Not dry enough for me for a saison and certainly not a thirst quencher as intended for this style. Overall OK.
