COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
What better for Summer than a dry, tart and quaffable beer? True to the classic Belgian tradition, Sungazer Saison is layered with soft peach, tropical fruit and European hop aromas. Belgian malts and yeast contribute a subtle vanilla and spice note that make way for a refreshing, bone dry and slightly tart finish.

Tap at GABF. Pours a cloudy gold with medium white head that lasts. The aroma is wheat, yeast, spice, clove, banana. Medium body, similar flavors to nose, light finish, decent.

Draught at the Alamo Drafthouse - South Lamar, Austin, Oct. 18. Pours a hazy yellow-gold with a small diminishing frothy white head. Nice aroma is herbal and yeasty along with some light citrus tartness and peach. Flavour is herbal, citrusy and yeasty along with some light spices and fruit. Spicy bitter finish. Medium bodied. This is a great Saison!

Nice and refreshing, well balanced, but quite different than my gold standard of this style, Saison Dupont. On tap, it was low in effervescence. Pale gold with a little haze. Little bit of vanilla in the aroma. Wet mouth feel with nice subtle peach flavors up front, followed by a nicely balanced hop astringency. Yeasty flavors are there, but not especially prominent. In the end, Id say its a little closer to a Belgian blonde, but hey it works for me!

Tap at Draft Pick. Clear amber pour with a nice white head. Aroma had some spice, citrus, and a bit of funk. Taste was tart citrus, grass, spice, and a little funk. Dry finish. Pretty good.
