Bottle from a trade with Cunningham. Thanx a lot!!Cunningham
Pours deep black with a high creamy head. Smells malty chocolatey with some coffee. Starts bitter malty, slight sourish, overall very mild. Middle part has some coffee and some sweet chocolate. Finish is very lax with bitter malts and some roasted coffee notes.

500 ml bottle sampled in 2009. Dark brown body with a beige head. Fine aroma of roasted malt, mocha and coffee. Flavor is sweet, roasted malt, some fruit with a light but balanced bitterness. Quite average in flavor. Medium body, actually a bit thin, but not bad considering low alcohol. Some roast in aftertaste.

berlinoise2go (689) - NORWAY - MAR 8, 2013
Bottle (50cl), BB March 2013. Very dark brown colour. Fascinatingly varying foam behaviour between pourings; on 2nd pouring a soda-like fizziness leaving no traces of foam, on 3rd pouring a nice-looking greyish-beige head with quite good retention and some lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, nuts, chocolate, coffee, hint of licorice. Light - quite watery - body, flat carbonation. Fairly dry, malty taste, a bit vegetal and metallic, reminding of cold coffee. Bitter-malty, slightly sour, aftertaste.

Fra flaske på Cardinaltreff: er dette en stour (som etiketten sier) eller en brown ale? Vammel, intetsigende og vandig.

50 cl bottle in Grebbestad. Dark brown/dark amber beer with a big beige head. Rubber/leather, malty and tar aroma. Licorice and tar dominats the flavour but to thin to be called a stout..

Bottle, from a trade with Cunningham. Rather dark amber/brown beer with a quote nice beige head. Roasted chocolate and cocoa aroma, fruity, figs, metal and vanilla notes. Chocolate flavor, cocoa and some fruits. Very, very watery and thin, more like a dark lager than a stout. Chocolate finish.
