Bottle from Meny Oslo City enjoyed at home
Pours dark brown, noisy brown head; quite lively stuff. Smells of yeast esters, roasted malts, oats and some malts fruityness. Moderate sweet, small amounts of roasted malts, hints of coffee and nuts, oats, some fruity elements, quite dry mouthfeel. Moderate bitter finish, earthy hops. Quite nice oatmeal stout!

Palme (4856) - Bergen, NORWAY - APR 8, 2014
0.5l bottle. Looks nice with a medium sized light bubbly dark chocolate colored head on top of a deep and dark brown body. On the nose it has lots of nice sweet chocolate and roasted malts. Quite round and oatmealy on the nose. I like. It tastes quite nice also. On the mouthfeel this is quite light and almost a bit watery while the carbonation is below average. Roasted or even light burned malty flavors here. The usual slightly acidic coffee is definitely present here, as is hints of cardboard and it’s really nicely bittered this. It ends really watery, but it has a nice lingering roasted tail. One of the better I’ve had from this brewer. 02.01.2014

ClubGonzo (5683) - Bergen, NORWAY - JAN 11, 2014
Bottle from Matkroken Natland, Bergen. Pours a dark brown, near-black body with a large, short-lived light beige head. Aroma is dark chocolate, cocoa, grainy malts and hints of nuts and coffee. Taste is burnt toast, sweet grains, caramel and hints of straw and nuts. Light to medium body, soft to medium carbonation. Not the greatest of stouts, even for its strength, but fair enough.

bergstaden (3324) - Røros, NORWAY - AUG 20, 2013
Black with a brown head - the aroma has a lot of roasted malt - Roasted malt flavours - has a lingering roasted malt finish with some bitterness - this was nice but a little bit thin in the body
