Muddy blond color. Spicy aroma. Spicy flavor, dry mouthfeel, but the body has a correct strength; some wheat flavor. Short final. Ordinary.

Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - SEP 22, 2009
Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of yngwie. Hazy yellow with a very lively white head. Sweetish aroma of citrus and yeast. Medium body, heavy carbonation, a dry fruitiness and some yeast. No real bitterness or tartness but no phenols. 220909

500ml bottle, brygg 925, from Fenaknoken, Oslo. Initial dense and chalky, lacing-head over a cloudy, yellow body. Spiced aroma with wheat and citric fruits. Sweet citrus with banana taste on a spicy backbone. Fine and refreshing interplay of acidity and sweetness. Comprehensive interpretation of a weissbier (hotel room, 18.08.2009).

50cl bottle from Ica Straumen (Inderøy) Batch #908. Pours yellow to orange with a medium white head. Aroma of floral stuff and some citrus. Flavor is fruity and sour but a bit watery. A good beer on a hot summer day but not the best Weissbeer...If this is a proper weissbeer..

Kestral (506) - Årnes, NORWAY - JUN 23, 2009
I gotta say, this is a pretty run of the mill weiss. A bit maltier than most. I’d wish for a creamier and smoother palate, otherwise it’s decent.

gunnfryd (14828) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - MAY 2, 2009
Bottle. Golden- orange colour with a white head. Aroma is dry, flower, citrus. Flavour is dry, flower, citrus, banana. Medium body. Could be more.

KnutAlbert (6754) - Oslo, NORWAY - AUG 14, 2008
Bottle from the brewery. Cloudy yellow, fine head. Soft wheat malt. Kölsch-like fruitness. Peach, orange. Very refreshing, a nice summer beer.

DrFunk (80) - Sorumsand, NORWAY - AUG 12, 2008
Bottle courtesy of Vea. Pours clear pale yellow with white head. Yeasty aroma with banana esters and some bubblegum. Intense carbonation that overpowers the taste initially, which is good, because the taste is very watery. At least the carbonation provides a bit of a taste sensation

yngwie (17038) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUL 30, 2008
Bottle. (#820) It pours an unclear, yellow-orange body and a nice white head. The carbonation is so intense, it causes the yeast to circulate vertically. Fascinating. The aroma is too artificial, with banana and bubblegum being the most evident. Fruits, a touch of cloves and some tiny sour notes too. Too sour in the mouth, in a grainy way, with artificial banana, some citrus and yeast, and a little flavor of cloves. Medium full body, highly effervescent. Not a bad beer, but fails to pin the style I think. (080708)

OleR (4804) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUL 17, 2008
UPDATED: MAR 18, 2009 500 ml bottle shared by yngwie. A big shiny white head over a greyish yellow, well-carbonatied body. Rather artificial banana aroma and some distant whiffs of dry malts. Taste is sourish malty with a faint banana-like fruitiness. Very thin-bodied. Dry, neutral finish. Mediocre.
