Hazy golden color with ivory sheen. Pumpkin pie spice, allspice, canned pumpkin pie mix aromas. Medium bodied. Lightly sweet caramel malt base brew with pie spice, and mild pumpkin---good. JohnnyJ (5562) - San Diego, California, USA - JAN 19, 2014
Draft at Joe’s. Clear orange pour, with an off white head. Sweet malts, bread, brown sugar, all spice, and light pumpkin. Fairly watery, meh. BeerSnob1 (5) - - NOV 21, 2013 does not count
OMG! They are adding whipped cream to their pints of Pumpkin ale! And sugar around the rim? Why would any respectable craft brewer kill their beer glasses? Anyway I know why they are doing this upon tasting it. No body at all with an unbalanced spicyness to it. Too much spice and too little beer. Ugh. brokensail (16449) - Dublin, California, USA - NOV 3, 2012
A hazy golden orange pour with a dense white head. Nice cinnamon and nutmeg aromas, a hint of all spice, and lots of brown sugar. Some bready malt, a hint of fruit esters, and light toast. The flavor is a bit watery and bland. Some bread, toast, and a slight pumpkin flavor. A touch of yeast, some light spice notes, and mild fruit esters.
